D' fhreastal suas le 100 páiste ar Champa na Cásca CLG/LGFA a bhí ar siúl ar thrí Oileán Árann an tseachtain seo. Tá muid fíorbhuíoch le chuile dhuine a thug a gcuid ama agus cúnamh an campa a reáchtáil i mbliana. Bhí neart spraoi, spóirt agus cairde nua déanta i rith na seachtaine.
Buíochas go háirithe leis na cóitseálaithe a bhí ar fáil chun an campa a rith, na déagóirí a thug cúnamh, na tuismitheoirí a d'eagraigh bia, tae agus síobanna. Tá muid fíorbhuíoch as ucht an dá chomhlacht farantóireachta a dhéan cinnte go raibh chuile pháiste agus tuismitheoir abálta freastal ar an gcampa ar chuile oileán agus a dhéan an saol i bhfad níos éasca do chuile dhuine ó thaobh taisteal de. Buíochas le Máirtín Ó Flatharta in Inis Mór a dhéan cinnte go raibh bus ar fáil le chuile dhuine a thabhairt ag an bpáirc. Ar deireadh buíochas leis na páistí uilig a ghlac páirt agus a dhéan cinnte go raibh spraoi agus spóirt ag chuile dhuine a bhí páirteach sa gcampa, idir óg agus aosta. Tá muid ag tnúth go mór leis an chéad campa eile.
Up to 100 children attended the GAA / LGFA Easter Camp which took place on the three Aran Islands this week. We are extremely grateful to everyone who helped organise and gave up their time, to run the camp this year. There was plenty of great fun, sport and new friends made during the week.
A special thank you to all of the coaches who were available to run the camp, all the teenagers who helped out, all the parents who organised food, tea and lifts. We are extremely grateful to the 2 ferry companies who ensured that all kids and parents were able to attend the camp on each island and made life easier for everyone from a travel point of view. Thank you to Máirtín Ó Flatharta on Inis Mór, who ensured that there was a bus available to transport everyone to the football pitch. Last but not least, a big thank you to all the kids who attended and made sure that everyone who participated in the camp between young and old, had great fun and thoroughly enjoyed the camp. We are really looking forward to the next Camp.
